History

JW2E, Inc., is an Illinois corporation located in Channahon, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. The owners and management team at JW2E began working together as early as 1995, though formal structured efforts began in earnest, beginning in 1999. The company formally incorporated in 2002.

It is our belief that we will achieve our goals by helping you to achieve yours. This belief transfers to every relationship we possess, and every task we perform. It is not enough to provide a simple service - to excel, we must provide true value through exceptional service and applied experience.

Focus

Understanding that we cannot be all things to all people we decided to concentrate our efforts on helping small businesses. The impact we can make in a relatively short period of time is exciting. Helping small business owners to excel on the Web is rewarding. We will continually narrow the focus of our efforts within the small business arena as time goes on, thereby increasing our expertise and value, as we go.

JW2E Management Team

Jeff Westover - A former Vice President with The Travelers, Jeff provides insight into a number of key areas. At The Travelers, Jeff managed a national network of 689 privately-owned insurance offices responsible for more than $450 million of annual sales; started and managed a national telemarketing center to $100 million in sales within 14 months; built a new strategic business unit as an Oracle Applications Practice Director to a $40 million revenue run rate within one-year. Technologically, Jeff was involved heavily in the dotcom days designing and creating many sites particularly centered around the online jobs market. Jeff also designed and built WebEntrepreneur Magazines Business Site of the Year in 1996. It is Jeff's depth of understanding from both the business, and the technological side, that adds significant value to the Internet equation. Jeff understands the needs of a small business having guided and supported hundreds of small businesses while with the Travelers.

Julie Westover - A seasoned Project Management professional, with over 10 years of experience managing and implementing enterprise-wide software solutions, Julie brings extensive business process knowledge and project management experience to JW2E. As one of the original 40 members of Micron Electronics, Inc., Julie was involved in implementing multiple software solutions and Web applications. She went on to manage the IT department of Micron Electronics Japan, K.K., at the age of 26. As an information technology consultant, Julie successfully participated in, and led implementation projects in the Insurance, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas and Software industries. She has extensive experience as one of the managers of a large world-wide organization whose Project Management and delivery responsibilities span Europe and the US. It is Julie's ability to articulate small business requirements into technical solutions that helps to create award-winning Web solutions. Her approach and the project management processes she has created will make your interaction with JW2E a success!

Mike Hearn - Mike is a long-time IT professional noted for staying on the bleeding edge of technology. An early advocate of the possibilities of the Web, Mike has been developing leading solutions using Web technologies since the early 90's. Mike is JW2E's leading technologist responsible for development standards, hosting and environment management, database development and the selection of technologies used throughout JW2E for any solution. Mike's is an engineer trained in Ontario, Canada and has enjoyed a successful professional career in the telecom, insurance and retail industries. Mike has successfully developed a wide range of Internet applications to meet the needs of small businesses and eCommerce companies.
